American Idol 9 - R&B / Soul

current song: Hot by Inna

Usher? please.

Siobhan Magnus. annoying. I have not watched any of her background stories... but I picture her to be one of those individuals who think they're original... but yet in reality they're generic. I imagine her saying: I'm soooo into punk... I'm a punk rocker... I'm gonna get my nose pierced... I'm gonna spike my hair... I'm gonna wear black... I'm soooo original. please. she chose to sing a ballad. tried to watch her performance... but she still looks like she's taking a crap when she performs. fast forward. not into ballads... not into hearing her scream and yell. Simon: I'm getting bored w/ the screaming at the end. no surprise there.

Casey James = Mr. monotone. boring. fast forward. Simon: strongest week so far... authentic... really impressed. huh?

Michael Lynche. he plays the guitar? why didn't he sing on stage? he chose a ballad. fast forward. Simon: 1st time I can take you seriously... brilliant performance. huh?

Didi Benami. she... like Siobhan... looks like she's takin' a dump while singing. painful to watch. she chose ballad. fast forward. Simon: over the top... off melody.

Tim Urban covered Sweet Love by Anita Baker. familiar w/ song based on title alone. ballad. fast forward. Simon: inappropriate song... nobody cares what we say... you're going to be here next week. is he the Sanjaya for this season? I remember voting for Sanjaya just for the hell of it... to keep him in competition as long as possible.

Andrew Garcia covered Forever by domestic violence. okay performance. he sings w/ passion... doesn't yell... not over the top. Simon: miles better from past weeks... show your personality because personality just as important.

Katie Stevens covered Chain Of Fools by Aretha Franklin. soulful, sassy performance. showed some swagger. Simon: pretty good... but robotic, comes across cold... make it fun... don't listen to Kara's advice... I would take advice from me. true that. who cares about the other judges?

Lee DeWyze chose unfamiliar song. rough, raspy voice did not sound as soulful as I hoped. perhaps because it seemed as if he yelled the high notes. should have taken it down a bit... then it would have been more soulful. liked his performance. total contrast to monotone Casey. Simon: I believe in you... tonight may have changed your life forever.

Crystal Bowersox chose ballad. damn. tempted to fast forward... but watched performance. soulful and passionate. entranced w/ her Nazi color scheme and her muffin top, which she tried to hide w/ a belt. she played the piano. Simon: sensational... you should continue to do what you did before... you're real... don't change.

Aaron Kelly chose ballad. damn. how can night end w/ slow song? fast forward. Simon: not good as last week... okay performance.

too bad Andrew chose a song by Rihanna's abuser. for me... it would have been the best performance of the night. so... fave goes to Katie.

Amazing Race 16 - Praslin, Seychelles

Seychelles = awesome. teams fly to Mahe... the largest island. pic from wikipedia.org. all teams on same flight. teams try to sit towards the front of the plane. big advantage to those who can get off plane quickly.

clue instructs team to take helicopter ride to island of La Digue. pic from wikipedia.org. 3 helicopters take 1st 3 teams while remaining teams wait an hour for helicopters to return. rewind aerial shots several times. looks as beautiful as my home state. Carol: frustrating the strongest teams in 4th, 5th, and 6th. she's part of a strong team? please. she and Brandy have yet to win a leg.

detour = Turtle Toddle or Ox Trot. in turtle toddle... teams use banana to lure 100 cycle old, 500 lbs tortoise across marked path on lawn. huge beast. what does it taste like? after tortoise crosses finish line... each team member had to deliver a bunch of bananas to a fruit merchant to get their next clue.

father and daughter vandals Steve & Allie only team to complete turtle toddle. Steve: it's like the tortoise vs the hare... and I've never met a nice ox. they left their backpacks at the detour. they do, however, have their passports and currency in another bag w/ them.

in ox trot... teams had to load a cart w/ coconuts... hitch an ox to their cart... deliver coconuts to fruit merchant for the next clue. if they lost any of the coconuts... teams had to retrieve them. Dan & Jordan's ox took a dump. Jordan: there's shit coming out of his ass. rewind.

once detour complete... clue instructs teams to take boat to St. Pierre Island. at this point the vandals realize they forgot their backpacks. Allie freaks out. dad Steve has good attitude. he's like: we can always buy clothes.

for the roadblock... 1 team member had to dive into awesome, clear ocean... swim towards buoy to retrieve 1 of 7 bottles. boat then took team to Praslin. pic from wikipedia.org. teams had to swim to shore... open bottle... remove contents... assemble puzzle pieces, which will reveal map to pit stop.

vandals 1st. win dinner on beach... massages... $7,000 each... and all the 7-Up they could drank.

very entertaining leg. helicopter race... turtle race... ox cart race... boat race... swimming race. also... mistakes by several teams. Brent & Caite and such, Jet & Cord and Carol & Brandy frelled up w/ ox trot detour. each team left 1 coconut behind. Jet & Cord forgot to bring bottle to pit stop. they come in last. non-elimination leg. whew. all initial teams I picked from premiere still in Race.

all teams can't stand the lesbians. at pit stop... Brent tells Phil: it's anonymous. huh? he meant unanimous.

when I win the Mega Millions... gonna go to Seychelles... get my aquatic on in the Indian Ocean.

Humpback Whale Hunting

current song: Telephone by Lady Gaga

holiday yesterday... and of all solar days... no humpbacks spotted. not even a spout.

friend Sheila and I planned to go to Ala Moana beach early afternoon... beat the crowd expected for the family festival. finished work late... but still managed to get there at 16:00. lucked out w/ parking. sweet.

glad Shelia decided to go into the water. I think 1st time this cycle she got her aquatic on. swam while she TYR kickboarded. spotted a honu surface for air. awesome.

overall chillaxin' afternoon in the Pacific... something I haven't done in a while. I've been swimmin' and swimmin' and swimmin'. I should chillax more often... enjoy the refreshin' water.

after we got our swam on... got our walk on. went to wall... looked out for whales for over an hour. nothing.

I will win the Mega Millions. what will I do w/ all that currency?

Humpback Whale Sighting

current song: Halcyon by Delphic

once humpbacks leave islands... I can start to attempt new record times for my 3.20 miles running -athlon distance.

as I walked on the magic island wall this afternoon... spotted local couple lookin' out. asked them: any whales? dude's like: see the surfer?... look a little towards the right. as soon as he finished his sentence... huge whale surface sighting. awesome. surfaced 3x.

what would it taste like? do the Japanese eat it raw? or do they cure the meat?

cycles ago... used to watch Wild Discovery every afternoon. learned how different animals recreate. what happened to me? I know my views definitely changed after watching Life After People and ep after ep of How It's Made.

how can a person consider himself an environmentalist? the other solar day I saw a dude driving a Prius w/ bumper sticker 'to save a Tree get rid of Bush'. I assume that dude had to be a liberal.

ooooo he drives a Prius. big frellin' deal. ooooo he gets more miles per gallon... better for the environment. gimme a break. what a hypocrite. if he really cared for the environment, he would walk. imagine all the resources it took to make that Prius. even if he rode a bike, I wouldn't call him an environmentalist because bikes manufactured using energy and natural resources as well. environmentalists = hypocrites.

Magic Island will be crowded tomorrow because of the family festival. friend Sheila has yet to see a whale. if she drives, then we'll go whale hunting. hopefully we see a breach.

American Idol 9 - Billboard No.1 Hits

current song: Hot by INNA

Miley Cyrus? seriously? mentor? seriously? like the way she sounds when she talks. cringe when she sings.

Lee DeWyze covered The Letter by Box Tops. did not care for his version. still like sound of raspy, soulful voice. Simon: I'm surprised by your song choice... corny... even though missy (Kara) love it... do the opposite whatever she says. don't know what Kara said because I fast forward to listen to what Simon says. boooo! hisss! how will show survive w/out him?

Paige Miles chose to sing Against All Odds by Phil Collins. don't care for ballads. listened for few seconds. gross. awful. fast forward. Simon: you're all over the place... sounds like 5 versions of you singing song... you are in serious trouble sweetheart... song killed you. from what I heard her sing... true that.

Tim Urban covered Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen. love song. loathed Tim's version. 2nd consecutive week in row he butchered a song. I don't bother watching results show... surprised he didn't get kicked off last week. painful to listen... painful to watch. fast forward. Simon: you have zero chance of winning. true that.

Aaron Kelly covered I Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith. not into ballads... but song choice familiar. like sound of voice. not bad. little soulful. he actually sings. Simon: zero chance of you going home tonight. true that.

Crystal Bowerson chose unfamiliar song... Me And Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin. never heard this song before. Crystal didn't have that soulful sound I fell in love w/ last week. I did not care for her performance. perhaps because sounded a bit country to me... perhaps because I didn't know song. Simon loved her performance. hmmm... 1st disagreement of the night.

Michael Lynche chose When A Man Loves A Woman. loathe all versions of this song. cringe. fast forward.

Andrew Garcie covered I Heard It Through The Grapevine by Marvin Gaye. fave song choice of the night. kinda like Andrew's voice. okay performance. Simon: you sucked the soul out of a soulful song. Lee DeWyze should have sang this song.

Katie Stevens covered Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie. current... modern single. very soulful. she looked cute. for 2nd consecutive week... she sings. she's not a yeller. Simon still sees her as a successful country singer. oh no. another disagreement.

Casey James chose The Power Of Love by Huey Lewis and the News. he's painful to watch. as I write this I figured out why. he's monotone... voice lacks emotion. hmmm... how to describe? similar to Tyra on ANTM telling contestants to smize... or smile w/ their eyes... he's not doing that w/ his voice. hmmm... my limited vocabulary and writing skills make it hard for me to describe how I feel about his performance. anyway... Casey's up there singin'... playin' his guitar... but nothing memorable. fast forward. Simon loathed performance. true that.

Didi Benami chose You're No Good. painful to watch last week. she looked like she's takin' a crap. same this week. painful to watch. fast forward. Simon: irony... you're no good... you're no good... you're no good. funny. he compared her performance to the girl who got eliminated last week. he's like: you filled the role of Lacey.

Siobhan Magnus covered Superstition by Stevie Wonder. she too painful to watch. not only does she look like she's takin' a crap while singin'... she yells. she reminds me of Adam Lambert. yell yell yell. didn't care for her performance.

fave performances by Aaron, Andrew and Katie. if I had to pick one... it'd be Aaron.

single released in 2008. UK #1 2 cycles ago... Mercy by Duffy.

$3.199 per gallon for unleaded gas at Costco.

Chloe saves the hour. hot! hot! hot! I wanna recreate w/ her. CTU out. NSA dude w/ napoleon/french/baby dick complex comes in to get computers running. Chloe has faster plan. he doesn't want to hear it. Chloe talks to Walker. Walker tells her to do whatever it takes to do what she has to do. she pulls out a gun... threatens to shoot him. she has her way. Hastings wants to thank her. Chloe: I don't do praises. hot! rewind Chloe scenes several times.

hottest scene = Chloe w/ gun. rewind. mmmmm.

coolest killing = Walsh choking parole officer. rewind.

Walsh = mole. damn. how could I not know that? beats my theory of she being Kevin's younger sis. Joe Moore shocked as well. he's in love w/ Chloe too.

peacekeeper dude Owen coolest extra. he died this hour.

Humpback Whale Flukes Sighting

current song: Only Man by Audio Bullys

1st lap around Magic Island... noticed ocean vessels drifting. engines must be off. whales must be in the area. 1 whale spotted surfacing 3x. huge beast. awesome. what does it taste like?

walked by yacht harbor... spotted honu who owns the area surface 2x. awesome. gotta give him a name.

paddlers seen gettin' their exercise on. fascinated by non-lean paddler. gotta give her credit for gettin' in shape. her folds spilled over the boat. damn. spillage like the Exxon Valdez. overflowin' like the Ganges.

2nd lap... sun about to set. single sailboat adrift. whales in area. multiple surface sightings. at least 2 whales. saw whale flukes for the 1st time. awesome.

marathon match. over 3 hours. rally scoring vball didn't seem to shorten length of match times. w/ UH ranked higher... and playing at home... I assumed sweep. in 3rd set... UH served well... Long Beach State had passing problems. reversed in 4th set. quick UH victory in 5th set. UH block scored match winning point. awesome. Charlie Wade should earn an award.

friend Sheila and I tentatively planned to get up early... chillax in Pacific... walk over to Magic Island wall... go whale hunting. see whales breach. no call from her. instead... pigged out while watchin' NCAA men's bball. watched northern Iowa upset overall #1 seed Kansas. awesome.

I decided to give up exercise for Lent... at least on the weekends... and took a nap. less than 5 minutes into sleep time... friend Aria called... wanted to get her sprint biathlon on... and go whale hunting. free ride. coolness.

1st lap... nuthin'. 2nd lap we watched boat movements. sure enough we saw a huge spout. then 2 simultaneous spouts... 1 big and 1 small... followed by 2 whale surfacings. mamma and her calf out n about. awesome.

one solar day I will see a whale breach. I know whales still in the islands. perhaps tomorrow.

current song: Why Don't You by Gramophonedzie

pleased I decided to run another 14+ minutes to earn another drank. spotted several boats and tourist sunset dinner cruises not moving in water. ocean vessels supposed to turn off their engines when gentle beasts in area.

bug eyed. breach in front of the boats. awesome. looked like a whale calf havin' fun. then another breach. then 2 breaches at the same time. then 4 breaches at the same time. then I realized I'm seein' dolphins. 1st time seeing those animals out n about in the Pacific.

gentle beasts. I remember an article about our peacekeepers training dolphins to locate and deploy mines. awesome. I have to look this up.

tomorrow... friend Sheila and I plan to go to the beach early in the afternoon to hopefully see humpbacks. I'm hopin' to see them breaching. enough of the spouts and surfacings. I have to look up if our peacekeepers thought about using whales for peacekeeper purposes.

American Idol 9 - The Rolling Stones

current song: Pon De Floor by Major Lazer

decided to watch American Idol one last season before the more entertaining X Factor comes to this great country. X Factor to debut in September of 2011. w/ Simon leaving Idol... what's the point of watching next season?

like last season... I only wanted to watch this season's top 12. 1st time hearing and watching contestants perform. tonight's theme = the Rolling Stones.

Michael Lynche = boring. fast forward when he started to get his groove on. painful to watch him dance.

Didi Benami = boring. she chose to sing ballad. not into slow songs. not into yelling. fast forward.

Casey James = okay... not bad. dude played a guitar. kinda entertaining. generic voice.

Lacey Brown = okay

Andrew Garcia = okay. kinda like the sound of his voice. performance okay.

me likey Katie Stevens. kinda soulful... kinda cute w/ her flowing hair and barbie doll outfit. she selected ballad. Wild Horses by Susan Boyle fave version. Katie actually sang... not yelled... the high notes.

Tim Urban = lame. he chose 'Under My Thumb'. he slowed down the song. painful to watch. fast forward. he'll be the 1st eliminated.

Siobhan Magnus = cool name. painful to watch her. while singing... she looks like she's takin' a crap. not into yelling. hmmm... more like screaming.

me likey Lee DeWyze. dude has raspy voice. dude plays a guitar. nice soulful sound. entertaining to watch.

Paige Miles = nah. fast forward.

me likey Aaron Kelly. dude also has soulful voice. where Lee's = masculine... Aaron's = androgynous. reminds me of Tracy Chapman. is that a guy or gal singin'?

me likey Crystal Bowersox. girl has soulful voice... muffin top... plays the guitar. hips don't lie.

Freckles' Final 4 = Katie Stevens, Lee DeWyze, Aaron Kelly and Crystal Bowersox.

last season... I correctly chose 3 of the final 4 contestants after watching them perform for the 1st time. beep beep. gotta toot my horn.

Lee DeWyze = fave performance of the night.

Humpback Whale Sighting

current song: Bad Romance by Lady Gaga on power 104.3 FM

1 spout and 1 surface sighting this afternoon. ocean calm. no need for binoculars. huge whale.

1 honu surface sighting near yacht harbor. he owns the place.

friend Ocarina = sprint bi/triathlete in making. told him friend Aria and I walkin' around Magic Island to see whales. he mentioned that this past Saturday... he and some friend watched whales breach. jealous.

exciting to see whales spout and surface. need more than that now. would love to see a whale breach. would also love to see flukes or a fin wave. perhaps tomorrow afternoon I'll be lucky.

current song: I'm In The House by Steve Aoki

$3.199 per gallon for unleaded gas at Costco.

coolest scene = EMP explosion. hottie Talia thought she escaped hostiles. drove safely into CTU. car contained device w/ timer counting down to 0. boom. CTU = dead.

I assumed explosion would kill Kevin's parole officer... but he's seen in the next hour's preview talkin' dirrrtay to Walsh. he's like: I'm gonna nail you.

coolest extra = dude tryin' to reverse vehicle. boom. rewind.

I wonder if our peacekeepers... in our country's never ending quest to maintain peace in the middle east... used such a weapon in battle. more importantly... do our peacekeepers have a weapon against EMPs?

Humpback Whale Sighting

current song: Pretty Green Eyes by Ultrabeat

single released in 2003. UK #1 7 cycles ago... Beautiful by Christina Aguilera.

animals out n about in Pacific. friend and I walked several times around Magic Island to complete sprint biathlon.

1st lap... huge spouts. awesome. counted 6 total. I assumed from 1 humpback... could have been several. near yacht club saw honu surface for air once. awesome. have not seen na honu chillaxin' where I normally swim.

2nd lap... 2 huge spouts. awesome. then another. finally a surface sighting. huge beast surfaced 3x. awesome. waited a bit because sun already set... little light. one last spout and 1 last surface sighting. awesome. 1 whale? several? who knows? lots of activity. need to bring binoculars tomorrow.

3rd lap... approached by bird lover. she spotted injured cardinal... she already called humane society... but asked us to wait for someone to arrive because she had to leave. she mentioned that humane society person wouldn't come for another hour. gimme a break. I found her offensive. if you really cared about the bird... then follow through. told her good luck.

Amazing Race 16 - Massiges, France

current song: Don't Stand So Close To Me/Young Girl by Glee Cast

why did the Race stop off in france? to pump currency into its sick socialist economy? loathe the french and their napoleon complex. our peacekeepers maintain peace while french try to destroy our peacekeeper work. disgusting. shut the frell up.

in detour... teams basically become peacekeepers. teams go to a WW1 strategic hill wanted by Germans but defended by french. from what I know about WW1 and WW2... our peacekeepers saved the french. in WW2 Deutschland blitzkrieged france... france fell and frelled... in a few solar days.

today no different. Deutshland rules the EU. PIIGS problem? Deutschland will save the solar day. hopefully Euro crashes and oil will still be traded in dollars. and the democrats in charge of this great country want to follow the European socialist model? gimme a break. capitalism rules. citizens of Hawaii... vote for Djou.

ok. highlight of ep = U-turn from Louie & Michael to Joe & Heidi. Joe must be french w/ his napoleon complex. he's like: boo hoo hoo... my knee has been bothering me the entire race... boo hoo hoo... but we're still 3rd... boo hoo hoo. Louie & Michael want him to shut the frell up... make him humble... make him eat humble cream pie.

poor Heidi. she's like: I thought we had a good rapport w/ them. shyeah. in a previous leg... they pissed off Louie & Michael for saving spot in airport ticket line for the lesbians. Michael: I didn't come here to make friends... I came w/ my friend... I'm gonna win w/ my friend.

Louie & Michael place 1st. win 55" HDTVs. obviously not french made. what do they make other than noise? vehicles teams used to drive themselves around pathetic country not even french. instead... kick ass German made E-class Mercedes.

fave teams still alive. father and daughter vandals Steve & Allie come in 2nd. bro teams come in 3rd and 4th.

America's Next Top Model 14 - Premiere

current song: Rocket by Goldfrapp

top model junkie. after 14 cycles... need to break addiction.

based from the premiere... in love w/ Raina. she's purrrty. pic from cwtv.com. she reminds me of hotties Anne Hathaway and Denise Richards. expect her to be in the final 3.

Tatianna the latest local girl to represent. Anya... from Whitney's cycle... so close to winning. Tatianna works at a morgue. does not have a clue about the fashion industry. basically tried out for competition to take a break from work. when asked what model she hopes to embody... she wants to be like Megan Fox. ooops. hopefully she does well in the competition.

Tyra and her crew discovered Ren. like Sara... from Danielle's cycle... she may go far in competition... simply for being discovered. during makeover... Ren 1st contestant ever to have her pits shaved. she reminds me of Susan Sarandon. don't find either of them attractive.

my gut tells me this cycle's winner will be Simone. not my personal taste. would love for either Raina or Tatianna to win.

Oregon - NCAA Women's Indoor Track & Field Champions

current song: Number One Enemy by Daisy Dares You

1st title for Oregon... 4th overall women's national championship. defending men's champion Oregon came in 2nd. school should amass points for director's cup.

since I started this blog... Pac-10 has won a national title in almost every sport... except volleyball. reflectin' on women's vball... awesome regular season... more exciting conference season... disastrous NCAAs. as of this post... Stanford men's vball currently ranked #1. hopefully Cardinal will win.

NCAA swimming and diving championships next 2 weekends. inspired. will attempt to swim 1.50 miles. during Vancouver Olympics... named it Uwe Dassler challenge... swam distance in 57 minutes. w/ games over... I should considering to rename it Matt Biondi challenge. on Friday, 3.19... will attempt to swim distance in 56 minutes. on Friday, 3.26... will attempt to swim distance 55 minutes.

so far... Pac-10 has only won 2 national titles this athletic season. been reading about Pac-10 expansion. ideal would be Texas and Texas A&M. lots of articles about Colorado and Utah. if those 2 schools join the conference... Pac-10 could win NCAA titles in skiing.

Humpback Whale Sighting

current song: About A Girl by Sugababes

2nd humpback whale sighting this season. awesome. friend Aria 1st to spot spout. I saw 1 spouting then 1 surfacing. awesome. huge humpback. then I saw 2 simultaneous spouts. awesome. 2 whales in area. must have been 2 adult humpbacks. spouts = huge. then 1 last surface sighting. awesome. perfect timing.

as we walked around Magic Island saw 1 honu surface 2x near yacht harbor. awesome. also saw green flash. sun now sets approximately 18:40.

plan to get our sprint biathlon on tomorrow afternoon. hopefully more humpback whale spout and surface sightings. still waiting to see full on breach.

Lost - Dr. Linus

current song: Rock That Body by Black Eyed Peas

no familiar local places. where did filming for school scenes take place?

Ilana = stupid. Miles uses his gift... his 6th sense... to communicate w/ Jacob's ashes. I honestly thought Miles would lie... tell her that bad ass Locke killed Jacob. nope. Ilana's pissed at Ben because he killed Jacob, who's like a daddy to her. gimme a break.

Ilana's all talk... no action. she carries around a gun. she could have shot Ben. nope. she forces him to dig his own grave. what's the point of that? gimme a break.

Ilana's supposed to protect the candidates. gimme a break. she couldn't even kill Ben. now she wants to protect one of the Kwons. doesn't she know that one is a host? will she have the balls to kill the host Kwon?

Richard somehow finds Jack and Hurley. gimme a break. Richard: I wanna die. very rude. I think of people who want to commit suicide by jumping off freeway overhead passes. frell... if they're gonna kill themselves... don't inconvenience others. they'd damage the cars they land on... and cause traffic.

Richard can't kill himself because Jacob touched him. did Ilana want to die too? from what Richard said... since Jacob touched him... and if Jacob touched her... then I assume she would want an enraged Ben to shoot her? gimme a break.

Richard takes the 2 guys to the slave ship. wants Jack to light a stick of dynamite for him. Jack sits next to him to get Richard to talk. gimme a break. Richard's all drama queen. he just said that Jacob touched him and so he can't kill himself. Jack lit the fuse... and since Jacob touched Jack as well... dynamite will not explode because Jack can't kill himself. why all the drama Richard? gimme a break.

if slave ship from 18th century... if one watched Life After People... then nothing would remain of the ship. gimme a break. ship looks fine. no sign of decay.

if Jacob could recruit... could smoke monster bad ass Locke recruit as well? Charles Widmore approaching island in peacekeeper submarine. if Widmore = Linus' nemesis... did bad ass Locke recruit Widmore like how Jacob recruited Ben?

where's Lost's William Shatner? where is that person yelling to all Lost fans to get a life?

24 (Day 8) - 02:00 to 03:00

current song: Why Don't You by Gramophonedzie

$3.149 per gallon for unleaded gas at Costco.

Walsh storyline still stupid. from last week's preview... I assumed southerner talkin' to Walsh was her dad. nope. southern dude = Kevin's parole officer who's lookin' for him. dude knows Kevin contacted Walsh several times and spoke w/ her several minutes at a time. now parole officer wants to meet Walsh... ask her a few questions. I still assume Kevin's her older bro.

Chloe = hot. now she's Walsh's boss. why does Walsh give Chloe cuntitude? shouldn't she play it cool? Chloe will save the solar day. she kicks ass. she talks tech dirty too. Chloe: there's a 12% degradation in the security feed. hot. rewind. hostiles tapping into surveillance cams... watching the ongoings at the hospital. Hastings: boost the signal. Chloe: don't you get it dumb ass?... someone's tapping in.

still moved... though not as much from the last hour... by peacekeeper Owen. did any Olympic medalists... w/ their new endorsements give at least some currency to help out our peacekeepers? probably not.

suicide bomber Marcos gives Jack speech. he's like: who is America to dictate who can or cannot have weapons? true. as long as we have steady supply of oil to make economy run smooth. frell... it's been months since I've paid less than $3.00 per gallon of unleaded gas at Costco.

I have faith in our peacekeepers. our peacekeepers will develop more advanced weaponry. eventually the technological advances will make its way into our industry... into commercial applications... keep America economically competitive. USA! USA! USA!

Dalia and Tarin make an attractive couple. Tarin is a mole. a mole who loves recreation. in a preview for the next hour... Dalia's torture looks like it will be televised. boring. saw that last season w/ president Taylor.

coolest extra = none. hmmm... perhaps dudes trying to drill into oxygen chamber.

suicide bomber Marcos' mom pleads w/ her son. he still plans to blow himself up. Jack: if you blow yourself up... I'll have your mom clean up your pieces... I'll then take her to the radiation blast site.

coolest scene = Marcos' bomb about to explode... Jack pushes Marcos into oxygen chamber. boom. blood splatter all over the place.

Amazing Race 16 - Hamburg, Germany

kinky Love Hewitt
va-jazzled her va-jay-jay
hot pink disco ball

teams in Hamburg. pic from wikipedia.org. Deutschland... Deutschland... uber Alles... uber Alles en der Welt.

roadblock = intersection. teams had to join forces w/ another team to complete tasks until further notice. intersection should be interesting... 1st teams that finish may be the ones to fight it out for 1st... and teams that finish last may fight to the finish to avoid elimination. for this roadblock... 1 team member from each team had to tandem bungee jump 150 feet. after tandemed teams return to their partners... intersection over.

cowboys Jet & Cord have awesome disposition. have yet to see them bitch and complain about anything. then again... could be due to editing. Jet keeps his cowboy at on. does it fall off? nope. Jet: real cowboy hat never comes off.

clue instructs teams to find a statue of Kaiser Wilhelm... King of Prussia... Germany's 1st Emperor. pic from wikipedia.org. Deutschland... Deutschland... uber Alles... uber Alles en der Welt.

detour = Soccer or Sauerkraut. in soccer... teams had to hit 5 goals from the penalty line to suspended targets in the net. in sauerkraut... teams had to eat a plate while a band played 'the sauerkraut polka' before band finished song or else start all over again before receiving next clue.

detectives Louie & Michael pigged out. Louie licks plate clean. disgusting. lesbian Brandy does the same. German watchin' her looked disgusted. nasty. then again... Carol looks nasty. ouch. Joe piggin' out looked gross. saliva and juices oozed out of his mouth back on to plate. his wife Heidi basically ate bacteria. gross.

Louie & Michael in 1st. clue instructs them to Haifishbar or shark bar... to drink a boot of beer. Louie tanked most of it. clue instructs them to go to Indra Musikclub... in red light district... where Beatles performed. 1st to arrive at pit stop. they win $5000 Discover Card. awesome... best prize yet.

father and daughter vandals Steve & Allie come in 2nd. Steve kicked ass. scored goals... tanked the beer like nuthin'. Allie kicked ass bungee jumping w/ Joe. painful to watch her though... I imagined her being felt up... being (wo)man-handled by Joe.

Joe must be the lady of his team. always bitchin' and complainin'. Joe: boo hoo hoo... my knee is sore... boo hoo hoo... I can't kick the soccer ball... boo hoo hoo... let's eat sauerkraut. when drinking boot of beer... Joe almost pukes. Heidi looks fine.

Jet & Cord come in 4th. they don't drink... yet seem to have good time at the bar. they look wasted. they looked shocked in the red light district. they can't be that innocent.

not much camera time for Dan & Jordan.

Catie and such crack me up. Brent's like: she lived in New York... she should know how to navigate about this city. then I thought of Catie's geography speech and such. she and Jordan get lost. Catie's excited for the soccer detour. she's like: I played soccer and such. yet she's in pain... cryin' on the field... and such. at the bar, Catie: Brent likes to drink and such... should be no problem. Brent's pukin' his guts out. Germans laugh.

Jordan & Jeff come in last. boy can't eat sauerkraut... but he can tank his boot of beer. Germans applaud him. Jordan: if we're eliminated... I'm gonna come back to this bar. non-elimination leg.

Lost - Sundown

current song: No Superstar by Remady P & R

thank you ABC for re-airing previous weeks eps before new eps. re-aired eps included commentary. still to grasp concept of the 2 timelines. if flight 815 didn't crash... wouldn't Ben and the Others be on the island watching plane fly overhead instead of splitting in 2? why is the island on the bottom of the ocean? when jumping through time did people land in ocean if at one point in time island on seafloor?

this show doesn't make sense. I get a kick of identifying local places... though none in this ep.

one of show's themes = battle between good and evil. yawn. muy aburrido. aburridisimo. if Jacob = good... then good will win. I assumed Sayid hosts Jacob. not after tonight's ep. I thought Claire kicked ass last week. girl scout compared to bad ass Sayid. he stabs the bad ass Locke... drowns the idiot Dogen... and slashed the neck of Dogen's translator.

Kate can kick translator's glutes. when she wanted to find bad ass Claire... she shoves translator back against wall w/ her hot forearm against his throat. translator = girlie man. after seeing Dogen dead, he's like: boo hoo hoo... what did you (bad ass Sayid) do?... boo hoo hoo... now he's (bad ass Locke) able to come into the temple... boo hoo hoo.

why would Jacob want Sayid to come back to life and become a host? become bad ass Sayid? Jacob must be several steps ahead of bad ass Locke.

if Dogen wanted bas ass Sayid dead, why not kill him himself? stupid. is there an unspoken or unwritten rule to this chess game where he can't? why did Dogen have to get Jack to kill bad ass Sayid? Dogen assumed that when bad ass Sayid stabbed bad ass Locke... bad ass Locke would kill bad ass Sayid. not so.

w/ Dogen dead... bad ass Locke can now enter temple. why only then? again... is there an unspoken or unwritten rule where bad ass Locke couldn't enter? people seem to come and go as they please. gimme a break.

when Kate told bad ass Claire she's been raising Aaron... I expected a bitch fight. bad ass Claire's all talk. she told Jin she'd kill Kate if she had been raising Aaron. at the end they're like one big happy family following bad ass daddy Locke.

now... for the 1st time... I will look up fan sites, forum, or message boards to understand the timelines.

24 (Day 8) - 01:00 to 02:00

current song: Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz on da bomb 102.7 fm

$3.119 per gallon for unleaded gas at Costco.

coolest extra = dude tryin' to keep Farhad alive. Jack and his team close to rescuing Farhad... hostile shoots Farhad in the gut. Farhad needs to be kept alive to identify IRK operatives in US. Jack's yellin' at the guy: do everything you can... we need him alive! extra: just let me do my job!

Chloe's hot... talkin' dirty... talkin' techie. w/ Farhad dead... Jack comes up w/ plan to pretend he's alive... lure terrorists to hospital. Chloe: we can use facial recognition software. mmmmm. terrorists send suicide bomber to kill Farhad. Chloe: I'm gonna disarm the detonation device. sexy.

extra who plays Owen... young kid who Jack replaced to take over field team... moved me. he looked so scared. scared for his life because vehicles may be attacked on way to hospital. scared for his life because suicide bomber could press trigger.

I immediately thought about our forgotten peacekeepers. Olympics on the past 2 weeks. all eyes on Canada. America in awe of its athletes winning medal after medal. USA! USA! USA! nothing in the media about our fight for peace... at least on the front pages.

our athletes and peacekeepers roughly the same age... w/ different paths in their lives. athletes fighting for gold... will be flush in currency w/ endorsements. I wanna ski for a living. I wanna do tricks on my snowboard and practice on my own private mountain where I built my own training facility. I wanna live dangerously and slide. at the same time... peacekeepers fighting for peace... struggling financially. I wonder if these newly endorsed medal winning athletes think about our peacekeepers.

is the dude Tarin a mole? even moles need to recreate before taking a leader's daughter hostage.

coolest killing = suicide bomber shooting an already dead Farhard in his hospital bed several times in his gut.

Walsh storyline still stupid. she and Cole dumped the bodies into the swamp. lame. I still assume Kevin's her bro. lame.

lookin' forward to the next hour. suicide bomber thinks he's smart. Jack's smarter. will use mamma as leverage. will she be the coolest extra for the next hour? what will Jack do to her?

Vancouver Winter Olympics: USA = 9 Gold, 37 Total Medals

current song: Won't Go Quietly by Example

watched parts of the closing ceremony. still don't understand why french spoken at the games. gimme a break. I'll let this pass this time because french is an official language in Canada. poor france... still dreamin' and believin' it's a world power.

rock must be popular in Canada. here's my logic. at the Athens Olympics... I remember DJ Tiesto... and dance muzik is popular in Europe. I assumed Canadians would be into hip hop like Americans... but a lot of rock bands performed during the closing ceremony.

USA won the most medals ever. USA! USA! USA!

still fascinated w/ the GDR after all these cycles. GDR last competed in 1988 at the Calgary Olympics... winning 25 medals or 18% of the overall awarded. highest percentage of overall medals GDR won occurred in 1984 at Sarajevo... winning 24 out of 117 medals... or 20.5% of the total. during its existence as a winter sports power... GDR won 110 out of 692 medals. using the overall percentage... if GDR competed today... out of 258 medals... perhaps GDR would win 41 medals. who knows how many the Soviets would win today if they still competed?

Soviets = scary. Canada set a new gold medal record w/ 14. Soviets had old record at 13... but at the time only 27 gold medals awarded compared w/ 86 today. using that percentage... Canada would have had to win at least 48 medals to match that Soviet accomplishment.

I have to write about my Olympics challenge during the games yet again. I set out a goal to swim 1.50 miles by the end of the closing ceremony. I named it the Uwe Dassler challenge... in honor of one of the few and one of the last GDR males to win a swimming gold medal. took me about 56 minutes to swim that distance. I think I will swim this distance every Friday... to see if I can swim faster... set new Admiral Freckles records.

Amazing Race 16 - Argentina

current song: Starry Eyed by Ellie Goulding

cowboy bros Jet & Cord breezed through this leg. won kick ass trip to Patagonia.

can't stand the dating lesbians Carol & Brandy. teams had to take a bus trip through the Andes into Argentina. while at bus station... lesbians interrogated cowboys. bros didn't get a 'warm and fuzzy' feeling from them. I could feel the lesbians' cuntitude through TV set.

for this leg's roadblock... 1 team member had to choose a roping station, lasso a target 18 feet away, pull target toward them and receive their next clue. Brandy: I can't believe this. she thought roadblock unfair... designed for the cowboys. Cord: we didn't throw a hissy fit because they can speak Spanish. Jet had a hard time. he took 2 tries to complete roadblock. Jet: I can't believe I didn't get it my 1st try... embarrassing... never gonna hear the end of this.

in this leg's detour... teams had to choose between Horse Sense and Horse Power. in horse sense... using an old school compass... teams had to count their steps to find buried loot using coordinates given to them by a gunslinger... return loot to lead bandit for the next clue. in horse power... teams had to go to a polo field... use a wooden horse to get a goal w/in 9 strokes.

mahu Jordan = funny. he's like: hey... we're wearin' black pants... lets choose the blue uniforms... we have to look good. mahu Jordan: I don't wanna get off this horse. he and his bro come in 6th.

father and daughter vandals Steve & Allie place 2nd.

bad mamma jammas eliminated. gotta feel for them. they wanted to show their kids never to give up. they knew they already would come in last for this leg. gotta admire them. they prevailed... gave it their all... until the end. gotta respect them.
