current song: Mama Do by Pixie Lott

pleasantly shocked UH swept UCLA. 67th meeting between the 2 schools. Hawaii now leads series 35-32.

love UCLA setter Lauren Cook. very offensive setter. hottie Dicey McGraw would look cute a beach vball uniform bikini.

last night's match... UH victorious over #25 Santa Clara. highlight of the match... Aneli's muffin top exposed. rewind. highlight of tonight's match... Aneli's 6 pack to UCLA's libero. rewind several times. my laugh of the solar day. poor libero. 6 pack also tonight's (Heineken) red star moment. rewind several more times. poor libero.

in the Pac-10... 4 conference teams have perfect 3-0 records... AZ, #14 UO, #4 UW and WSU. all other conference teams have 1 loss. hotties Carli Lloyd and Hana Cutura from #6 Cal come to town this weekend.

AVP Chicago - Branagh/Youngs

current song: The Man Who Can't Be Moved by Script

missed the men's final yesterday. Hyden & Scott won. they beat Dalhausser & Rogers. ties series in finals at 3-3. awesome.

mini-muffin hottie April Ross has most number of aces so far this season. her cute little grunt intimidates opposing receivers/passers. she and Kessy won an FIVB tournament several solar days ago. although they placed 2nd in Chicago... they won more currency overseas even if they did win here. currency still currency though.

Kerri Walsh teamed up w/ hottie Holly McPeak. they placed tied for 5th. Rachel Wacholder out w/ shoulder injury. Kerri and Misty have won in Chicago 5x.

Chevron Wahine Volleyball Invitational: #7 Hawaii 3 - Western Michigan 0

current song: Beggin' by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons

prior to start of match... court blessing... and singing of national and state anthems. thanks to statehood... mainlanders exposed to Hawaiian culture.

UH middle blocker Brittany Hewitt = blond hottie.

Kanani Danielson kicks ass. Aneli vexes me. when she scores a point for Hawaii... she points her right pointer finger in the air to 'thank God'. doesn't look very religious to me. I find it annoying as Jason Kidd blowing kisses while on free throw line. other than that... love that muffin top's wicked jump serve and arm swing.

Hawaii decimated Western Michigan. excellent D from both teams.

at 1 point I thought of UCLA setter Lauren Cook being a mole for her daddy. her dad coaches Nebraska's women's vball team... which has a dismal record against the Pac-10 in the NCAAs the past several seasons. UCLA will play at Nebraska later this season in Lincoln. should be interesting when UCLA wins that match.

Chevron Wahine Volleyball Invitational: #9 UCLA 3 - #25 Santa Clara 0

current song: Firestarter by Prodigy

shout out to Pac-10:
brrrang home volleyball, football
national titles

surprised UCLA setter Lauren Cook daughter of Nebraska's vball coach. glad she wants to make a name for herself. glad she decided to play w/ the Pac. for the past several post-seasons... at least 5 different Pac-10 teams blitzkrieged Nebraska out of the NCAAs... last being Cal's victorious sweep in 2007.

hottie Nellie Spicer QBed a very fast offense. compared to hottie Nellie... Lauren runs a relatively slower offense. already in love w/ Lauren. very offense setter. at 1 point in the match she had the 2nd highest number of kills for the Bruins. she distributed the ball well to her hitters... especially to hottie Dicey McGraw. Lauren also a diggin' and blockin' machine.

Santa Clara's Tanya Schmidt = hapa hottie.

all Pac-10 teams started season. surprised w/ #5 Stanford's opening match. Cardinal played 5 sets... against an sec team... to earn its 1st victory of the season. has Stanford ever lost to an sec team? should look that up. #6 Cal lost in 5 sets to an unranked UC Irvine team. disappointed #12 USC lost in 5 sets to Michigan State. big ten should be tough this cycle.

Shaq Vs Kerri & Misty

current song: For An Angel 2009 by Paul van Dyk

Shaq: Misty n Kerri haven't played together for a year... I should be fine. trainer: they'll dominate. Shaq: they're still girls. love Shaq. MDE! MDE! MDE!

Kerri & Misty kick ass. 2x gold medalists. at 1 point they won 100+ matches. finished AVP ranked #1 for 4 consecutive seasons. awesome. haven't seen them play a match since winning gold in Beijing.

Kerri: Shaq's crazy... Misty and I won 108 matches in a row... it's like Shaq and Cleveland winning 108 games... not gonna happen... we're bad ass. true that.

press conference. Shaq: I'm lookin' forward to beating you girls... hope I don't mess up your nails. Misty: Shaq's gonna be the tallest woman we played against.

Shaq visits kick ass Serena Williams for some advice. she and sister Venus now minority owners of the Miami Dolphins. must be nice to have currency. currency enabled Serena to buy a kick ass estate. to Serena, Shaq: I'm gonna play against Misty & Kerri. bug eyed Serena: they're amaaazing... they're like me and my sister in doubles.

Shaq picks up racket... shows tennis moves. Shaq: I know how to play tennis. Serena: I don't see it. she tells Shaq he needs to grunt. he sounds mahu. they play air hockey. Shaq scores... victory lap... Serena kicks him out.

Shaq meets up w/ pro beach vballers. thin Beijing best Dalhausser looks small next to Shaq. the MDE's getting lessons in passing and blocking. thin beast gave him six pack. rewind.

match introductions. Misty's wearing Lakers gear... doing what looks like MC Hammer moves.

match fun to watch. personally... a positive evening in an otherwise frelled up month. Shaq has some serious vball moves. he has the finesse shots. he can quick set. he can dig. Misty still has her moves as well. same w/ Kerri. after 3rd point... Shaq all sweaty. out of his element

monster spike/kill from Kerri hit Shaq in the face. announcer 1: is Shaq hurt? announcer 2: nah... just his feelings.

Casey Jennings' must be feeling much worse. wife Kerri blocked him. announcer: if it's a pickup backyard game... it's ok... but on national tv?

in end Kerri & Misty swept Shaq & Todd Rogers 11-6, 11-8. Shaq looked tired and defeated. all other vball players on court still look fresh... didn't break a sweat.

if Shaq lost... he said he would wear a pink Speedo... 2 or 3 sizes too small for him... and walk along the beach. Shaq must be huge. all of Misty and 1 of Kerri's long legs... which start from her shoulders... fit into the relatively small Speedo.

Project Runway 6 - Season Premiere

1st impressions. Johnny = druggie. Malvin = Christian Siriano... androgen w/ bad hairstyle. Qristyl = plus size plus size designer. Nicolas = 'feather prince'... Farrah Fawcett feathery bangs wannabe. Carol = Allison Hannigan cutie.

red carpet challenge. draw inspiration from any red carpet event. $200 budget.

several irritating moments. druggie Johnny wants camera time... overwhelmed by challenge he freaks out and cries. boo hoo. for someone who finally made it on the show after trying out 3x... he wants to quit. gimme a break. Ra'mon cried. Christopher cried. they McMackin-ed. now... to paraphrase McMackin... what a bunch of faggots.

Lindsay Lohan guest judge.

I myself not impressed w/ any of the designs. I watched the runway show again... to get a 2nd look... and perhaps predict the final 3. based on the 1st challenge I predict... Irina, Carol and Nicolas... to be in the finals.

Ari eliminated. if she sold the idea her garment would be for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards... then perhaps it the judges would have bought it. Mitchell should have been eliminated.

Models Of The Runway
lame. Heidi = Tyra wannabe. in past seasons most of the designers worked w/ their muses. I assume to increase ratings there will be a lot of switching this season. most likely I will watch this show... even though hottest model... Yosuzi.. eliminated.

current song: Can't Fight This Feeling by REO Speedwagon on KSSK 92.3 FM

single released in 1985. UK #1 24 cycles ago... Into The Groove by Madonna.

thin beast and professor all business... Dalhausser serving aces, blocking, overhand and bump setting w/ ease... Rogers siding out efficiently, digging balls like crazy.

Hyden and local boy Sean Scott looked out of it.

Dalhausser & Rogers now lead 3-2 in finals matches against Hyden & Scott. hopefully each team makes it to the Muskegon finals... hopefully Hyden & Scott win.

AVP San Francisco - Kessy/Ross

current song: Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas on Power 104.3 FM

mini-muffin tops Kessy & Ross... after losing the 1st set and trailing 11-14 in the 2nd set... fought back and earned their 3rd victory in 7 final matches against Branagh & Youngs.

Branagh & Youngs won in similar way in their semi-finals match against Wacholder & Walsh. they lost the 1st set... trailed 13-16 in the 2nd. announcers mentioned Wacholder & Walsh meltdown... helping Branagh & Youngs come from behind to earn place in final.

highlight of final? April Ross' Kong block early in the 1st set.

Whale Wars 2 - Season Finale

current song: Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas on KSSK 92.3 FM

3 whales processed/researched right in front of the Sea Shepherd (SS) environmentalists/eco-terrorists. 4th whale on its way to be transferred/researched from Yushin Maru 3 (YM3) harpoon/research vessel to Nisshin Maru (NM) factory/research ship.

captain Paul wants to stop the transfer/research. plan? maneuver the Steve Irwin (SI) in between the NM and YM3... cutting the transfer/research line. I'm thinkin': wouldn't the Japanese have several lines?

captain Paul takes a phone call... works the media. SI overtakes NM... which has stopped. SI needs to make a huge turn. it passes dangerously close in front of the NM. NM horns blaring. NM bow right over SI. while SI making its turn YM3 speeds up toward NM.

SI catches up to the 2 Japanese vessels. narrow opening. SI few feet away from YM3. SI crew/eco-terrorists throw stank bombs. Japanese throw metal objects... water cannons full blast. SI collides into YM3. wow.

SI backs off. crew/eco-terrorists rejoice. celebration short lived. whale transfer/research successful. also... SI has hole in hull. water rushing in. hole needs to be welded shut before SI gets into rough water.

SS running low on fuel... must head back to port. Japanese release footage of collision. they ask Australian government to look into attack. back at port... Polizei. they want evidence. animal planet tapes confiscated. copies given back to provide footage for this season.

Japanese killed/researched 305 less whales than the set quota.

I'm thinkin': the Japanese should be smarter about their hunt/research. perhaps they should target more bulls than cows. w/ sufficient number of cows... whale populations should remain stable or actually increase.

there will be a 3rd season. hottie Jane Taylor will be back. SS will have multiple ships. if I read about this... so did the Japanese. will the Japanese send more ships as well?

I told her that perhaps fireworks would offend traitors... those opposed to statehood... and so there would be no show. she looked online via her mobile... show to start at 20:55. too late for us... left beach.

before we left... talked story... looked at Waikiki... all the high-rises. awesome... beautiful sight. tried to name all the buildings we recognized.

statehood modernized... commercialized... Hawaii. it also helped perpetuate its native culture... exposed it to the millions of tourists that visit the islands each cycle. Merry Monarch Festival... for example... has Halau Hula from Japan and the mainland.

I personally like to look at per capita income. Hawaii's relatively higher than the national average. definitely higher than that of Guam. definitely several times more than that of every Pacific island nation. disposable income attracts national companies to do business in the islands. how can I live w/out Wal-Mart? Honolulu location most likely top grossing in country. same w/ Target. same w/ Costco. same w/ California Pizza Kitchen. same w/ Cheesecake Factory. etc.

most importantly... statehood has Hawaii under the US peacekeeper umbrella.

Amazing Race - Ancient Aliens Edition

current song: Coming Up Easy by Paolo Nutini

my explanation for the unexplained? an Alien Amazing Race. Earth could have been a leg in a race around the universe.

Easter Island? perhaps alien teams had to erect a certain number of statues.

Nazca Lines? perhaps it could have been an obstacle course. perhaps it could have been a roadblock. 1 alien team member had to view the images from above... then collect a live specimen corresponding to the pics before receiving the next clue.

Pyramids? perhaps it could have been part of a detour. alien teams had to land along the Earth's equator. there they had to construct pyramid structures based on certain specifications. alien team that worked at Pumapunku perhaps team in last place. alien host Phil informed alien team that they don't have to complete challenge because winner already declared.

hmmm... SyFy channel should produce a show like this.

Amazing Race 14 - Tammy & Victor

current song: Sex On Fire by Kings Of Leon

after 3 months I finally watched the finale.

final destination = Maui, Hawaii... my home state. home state celebrating Golden Jubilee this week. this Friday... 08.21.09... Hawaii celebrates 50 cycles of statehood. rapid development, modernization = awesome. in an article in today's Honolulu Advertiser... it mentioned that prior to statehood... people in Hawaii, earned an average of 20% of what people made on the mainland. in a previous article... Hawaii, now has the highest percentage of millionaires in the country excluding real estate. if real estate included... then the percentage of millionaires would be higher considering property values.

clue instructs teams to find beach access 118 once they arrive on Maui. all teams on same 18 hour flight to the islands. race to get cabs... cab race to beach... foot race to clue. clue instructs teams to prepare a pig for a luau. they need to season the 145 lbs pig... carry it suspended on a bamboo pole 200 yards... place it in a pit and properly cover it to cook local style.

Tammy & Victor 1st to arrive... Jaime & Cara in 2nd. pig = heavy... all the girls have a hard time. while walking to the luau area... the 2 teams drop their pigs. sand, dirt, grass on pig. gross. Margie & Luke last to arrive... but they're the 1st to get next clue. somehow supermom Margie carried the pig w/ ease. she kicks ass.

clue instructs teams to go to McGregor Point... get on water craft... ride it 1 mile out to sea to a field of 100 buoys... search for next clue. supermom Margie = hot driving water craft. again... she kicks ass. she and Luke get the next clue. teams race along Hana Highway to find the Surfboard Fence.

roadblock = 1 team member had to search through a pile of hundreds of surfboards for 11 that had a pic of each leg... arrange them in order. it seemed as if Luke would breeze through roadblock. Victor = mad man. Jaime & Cara had problems w/ their driver. he didn't know location. he calls his dispatcher. hearing Jaime & Cara in the background yelling, local tita dispatcher: tell your passengers to back off... I'm not their personal concierge. Jaime & Cara then call the polizei for directions. what the frell?

Victor finishes. final clue instructs teams to head to King Kamehameha Golf Club... the final pit stop. after traversing 3 continents, visiting 9 countries, and traveling 40,000+ miles... Tammy & Victor win. one time for the Asians!

Whale Wars 2 - Stuff Of Nightmares

current song: Wind It Up by Prodigy

Sea Shepherd (SS) crew/eco-terrorists enraged. 1st time Japanese hunted/researched in front of them. SS crew/eco-terrorists want to throw stank bombs at the Nisshin Maru (NM) factory/research vessel to stop the processing/researching of whales. I'm thinkin: what a waste of a whale.

captain Paul maneuvers the SS close to the NM. crew/eco-terrorists close enough to throw stank bombs. NM's water cannons very powerful. no successful hits.

at past vball events at the Stan Sherrif center... the UH cheerleaders used to throw t-shirts to the crowd... but only the people in the lower levels would be lucky enough to get a free shirt. nowadays the cheerleaders have a bazooka-like device. they stuff a shirt into it... point it upwards... fire the device. t-shirts can now reach the the upper levels. cheerleaders have so much fun w/ device that nowadays they forget about the people in the lower levels. what's up w/ that spirit fingers? anyway... perhaps next season the SS crew/eco-terrorists may use such a device to fire the stank bombs on to the NM w/ greater success.

helicopter pilot Chris takes off. Yushin Maru 1 (YM1) has a whale that needs to be transferred to the NM. transfer successful. harpoon/research vessel Yushin Maru 3 (YM3) spotted. it too has a killed/researched a whale that needs to be transferred to the NM. I'm thinkin': why doesn't the SS launch the inflatable boats?

helicopter needs to refuel. captain Paul backs off... doesn't want the NM's water cannons to damage helicopter. YM3 overtakes SS... pulls alongside NM... whale transfer successful. whale looks relatively small in comparison to the NM's sheer size... looks like a tuna. Animal Planet did not provide any graphics on how a whale gets transferred between vessels.

Jane Taylor's cryin'. damn she looks cute. rewind. Taylor: we're gonna refocus... get our bad ass selves together... do some damage. uber-hot. rewind.

pilot Chris looks in on the NM from above. again... sheer size of NM makes it as if Japanese working/researching tuna. surprised Japanese threw away parts of the killed/researched whales. I assumed they utilized/researched every piece of the whale. how wasteful. whale parts floating past SS. SS crew/eco-terrorists disgusted... bitch slap in their saddened, angry faces.

YM3 on the hunt/research again. pilot Chris watches everything. 2 whales try desperately to get away from the harpoon/research vessel. 1 whale harpooned/researched... splashing around in the water... bleeding... still spouting. 1 Japanese whaler/researcher shoots/researches the whale several times. whale struggled for at least 25 minutes. rewind.

current song: Fire Burning by Sean Kingston

wanted Hyden & local boy Sean Scott to win. they did win the 1st set... but the thin beast and the professor came back to win the 2nd and 3rd sets.

how tall is hottie Heather Cox? standing next to Dalhausser... either she wore 6" pumps on the sand... or Phil crouched down to talk to her. standing next to Rogers... they looked the same height.

Misty made an appearance in the broadcast booth. Misty: I'm soooo outta shape. Chris Marlowe: you look like you're waaay in better shape than me. Paul Sunderland: so would anybody else.

halfway in the 3rd set... teams evenly matched... until thin beast and the professor went on a 5-0 run to take control. glad I watched until the very end. why? Hyden had a monster kill... spiked ball bounced off Dalhausser's head... shades and cap flyin'. awesome. rewind.

I know after the match Rogers teamed w/ Shaq to compete against Kerri & Misty. Shaq has a show 'Shaq Vs...' set to debut on ABC. no results online. I assume he lost and wore a pink Speedo and pranced 2 miles around Hermosa.

hottie Kerri Walsh made an appearance in the broadcast booth. she and her new partner... hottie Rachel Wacholder... placed tied for 5th.

mini-muffin tops Jennifer Kessy & April Ross had championship point. what happened? April served into the net. Chris Marlowe: ooooh noooo! crucial. at least keep the ball in play April.

who knows what would have happened had she served the ball in? in the end Branagh & Youngs won yet another title.

hopefully Kerri & Rachel will be playing in the Chicago finals.

from what I read online... Shaq has a new show "Shaq Vs... lot of action in this ep. Yushin Maru 1 (YM1) on tail of Sea Shepherd (SS). SS wants to prop foul YM1. captain Paul shoots flares toward harpoon/research vessel. no control of flares... crew/eco-terrorists on inflatable boats wonder who shot flares. flares put helicopter in danger. pilot Chris calls cutie Jane Taylor. they always look clean and fresh... all others stank lookin'. Chris: hey... be careful. to captain Paul, Jane: Chris wants us to be more careful. captain Paul: what's he talkin' 'bout? Peter H(ypocrite) makes an appearance. he irks me.

YM1 backs off. Yushin Maru 3 (YM3) now on tail of SS. YM3 has long rang acoustic device (LRAD). captain Paul orders gemini inflatable to prop foul YM3. it worked. harpoon/research vessel stops. SS crew/eco-terrorists excited... it finally worked. YM3 whalers/researchers have 1 end of prop fouler on board their vessel. they have pole... perhaps equipped w/ camera... to view underwater and untangle prop fouler. YM1 comes back into battle.

narrator mentions Japanese set to kill/research 935 Minke and 50 Fin whales.

inflatable boats running out of fuel... need to return to SS. YM3 free from prop fouler... moving again... goes back into battle. w/ 2 harpoon/research vessels on its tail... SS needs to maintain its speed at 14 knots. inflatables handled 10 knots... 14 knots not tried before... but they have to board.

captain Paul does a maneuver called the Crazy Ivan. ship travels in a circle... creating calm water w/in... hopefully making it easier for the crew/eco-terrorists on inflatables to board SS. I'm thinkin: why doesn't 1 harpoon/research vessel follow the SS' direction and the other go in the opposite? perhaps after watching this season the Japanese whalers/researchers may do that next season.

gemini back on board safely. delta's turn. YM3 uses the LRAD. SS crew/eco-terrorists don't seem affected by it. perhaps the angle or distance between all vessels. perhaps next hunting/research season the Japanese will take this into account.

helicopter still needs to land. SS crew/eco-terrorists hold up dishes... fake LRADs. Japanese not buying that. captain Paul decided to deploy a stern line... to get the harpoon/research vessels to back off. they do. helicopter on board SS safely too.

3 SS crew/eco-terrorists talk story. again they talk about how they're so non-violent. gimme a break. tired of that dren.

change of shift aboard SS. 3 crew/eco-terrorists see Nisshin Maru (NM) factory/research and harpoon/research vessel in distance. Dubai boy spots whale being hauled to NM. crew/eco-terrorists get all emotional.

I myself felt indifferent. earlier this cycle I looked forward spotting humpback whales here in the islands. beautiful sight to see them spout and surface. at the same time I see them as food. I have no desire to eat whale... but the Japanese do. I don't know if the younger generation has a taste for whale meat. if they don't then perhaps in a generation or 2 the Japanese will no longer hunt/research whales.

next week's preview showed Japanese killing/researching whales.

109 dranks?! frell.

for cardio exercises at the gym... elliptical, treadmill, bike, and rowing machines... I need to burn off 140 calories to earn a drank.

when swimming or running... swim or run... at least 14 minutes to earn a drank.

for walking... 3.20 miles... my biathlon running route... will count towards an earned drank.

how did it get outta control? combination of having several dranks each solar day... and not enough cardio.

Whale Wars 2 - Bait And Switch

current song: Idealistic by Digitalism

McMackin! no pride?!
cryin'?! what a drama queen!
frell... what a faggot

5th solar day Steve Irwin in striking distance of Nisshin Maru... which has new defenses... protective netting, powerful water cannons, long range acoustic device (LRAD). harpoon/research ships several miles in front of factory/research vessel... most likely hunting/researching whales. environmentalists/eco-terrorists gettin' antsy... they wanna save whales. Nisshin Maru formidable... Sea Shepherds/eco-terrorists want to attack vulnerable harpoon/research vessels.

the plan... pretend to attack Nisshin Maru... harpoon/research vessels will turn around and defend factory/research ship... harpoon/research vessels will then be in striking range for the delta and gemini boats.

Sea Shepherds/eco-terrorists remember last encounter w/ 1 harpoon/research vessel. the Japanese threw metal objects at them. Peter H(ypocrite): we're non-violent... and they threaten our lives by throwing objects at us?... we respect life. please. stop throwing objects at the Japanese and they in turn won't throw objects back. and gimme a break... if Peter H(ypocrite) valued life... he would respect plant life as well. stop being animal-centric.

delta and gemini boats approach Nisshin Maru. its water cannons effective... knocked down an environmentalist/eco-terrorist... w/ his eye bleeding. gross. inflatable boats plan to throw stank bombs on the Nisshin Maru's unprotected front deck. makes no sense because nothing there worth stanking up. harpoon/research vessels did not fall for bait... still out of inflatable boats' range.

exciting part... Japanese use LRAD on helicopter. pilot Chris freak out: I can feel vibrations in my legs. he backs off. Sea Shepherds/eco-terrorists stunned. I'm thinkin': why are they in shock?... the Japanese view them as eco-terrorists... they're protecting themselves.

captain Paul wants his ship to get closer to the Nisshin Maru. that caught attention of harpoon/research vessels... they turn around. Yushin Maru 1 on intercept course w/ Steve Irwin. inflatables approach and throw stank bombs at Yushin Maru 1. harpoon/research vessel points LRAD at delta boat. environmentalists/eco-terrorists: OWWW... my ears!... move away!... get away!

gemini attacks... plan to deploy prop fouler. failure. pilot Chris notices Yushin Maru 1 has towing rope deployed. Japanese have their own prop fouler. Amber: it's frustrating... the Japanese are using our tactics against us. I'm thinkin': if there's a season 3... it should be more interesting because who knows what the Japanese learned by watching season 2?

I still don't understand the Sea Shepherds/eco-terrorists' thinking. US still hunts whales. 10 native Alaskan communities hunt 50 whales each season... under aboriginal subsistence clause. killing a whale is killing a whale. after their time in Antarctica... do the environmentalists/eco-terrorists head north to Alaska?
