Hawaii Five-0 - Powa Maka Moana

current song: Heaven by DJ Sammy & Yanou

$3.459 per gallon for unleaded gas at Costco.

pirates in Hawaii? please. peacekeepers keep islands safe from barbarians.

aerial shots of snaking freeways = amazing. panoramic shot of city w/ Diamond Head in background = amazing. frell... my home state = amazing.

guest appearances by Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo. Minnillo looks like a regular local girl. same w/ Grace Park. thought she to be an uber-hottie on BSG... but she too looks like a regular local girl.

obese local dude... who appeared in other eps... makes an appearance. thank you producers for not making him wear purple. he would have looked like Grimace.

more amazing shots of my home state. Waikiki, Kalihi, Mililani = amazing. love urban sprawl.

liked pawn shop scene. McGarrett and Danno want to talk to business owner. he's like: I'm not opening this door... it's built to w/stand a 300 lbs Samoan meth addict. McGarrett then blows open door w/ grenade.

organic baby food commercial irked me. I still don't understand the liberal concept of organic food. how is it organic? if organic food grown in liberal California... it has to be processed, packaged, and shipped to various parts of the country. all energy consuming. then you have all these liberal environmentalists who drive their hybrid vehicles and go out of their way to purchase organic food. all energy consuming. gimme a frellin' break.

anyway... predictable story. Lachey and Minnillo the bad guys in this ep. figured that out as soon as Minnillo the only person to survive pirate attack. who cares though? home state looks awesome on TV.
