Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic: #4 Hawaii 3 - Michigan State 2

current song: Miss Nothing by The Pretty Reckless

kick ass vball stud Brad Lawson sang national anthem. only introduced as Iolani grad. no mention of him being last season's MPSF player of the cycle... no mention of him being last season's NCAA men's vball championship MVP. at least one of the announcers noted those accomplishments to tv viewers. too bad he doesn't have blue eyed soul sound.

highlight of match = glimpse of #8 Alex Griffiths. a defensive specialist... she's 5'6... and she's a muffin top. mmmmm. fold city. I 1st saw my new treat late in the match when she came in to serve for Danielson. Griffiths did not serve... but I did get to see this hot muffin top. if Griffiths' a muffin top... then Aneli = mini-muffin. mmmmm.

2nd highlight of match = Michigan State player getting a facial from Danielson. rewind several times.

fugly win for Hawaii... but a win = win. surprised... well not really... w/ Mafua's performance. for a senior setter she QBs a predictable offense. set outside to Danielson... set outside to Danielson... set outside to Danielson. boring. as a senior setter Mafua... no matter the pass... no matter her position on the court... should be able to better the ball at this point in her career. she should be able to set anywhere... force all her hitters to attack.

looking at the stats... Danielson registered 74 attempts... 1 more attempt than the next 3 Wahine combined. boring.

tomorrow night Hawaii will play against #10 USC. around the Pac-10... all ranked teams won their respective matches.
